The short version

The studio runs in your browser. Your designs, screenshots and fonts stay on your machine — they are stored in your browser's local storage and in design files you download, never on our servers. You only need an account for the paid AI features, and even then we store the minimum: who you are and your credit balance. When you use AI localization, the text of your design (and nothing else) is sent to our AI provider to produce the translation, and is not stored by us.

What we collect, and when

Using the free studio: nothing. No account, no upload, no tracking pixels.

Creating an account (needed only for AI features): your email address and optional name, handled by our sign-in provider. We link your credits and purchases to your account id.

Buying credits: payments are processed by Mollie. We never see or store card numbers or bank details. We receive the payment status, amount and a payment reference, which we keep in our credit ledger together with your account id.

Using AI localization: the text elements of your design are sent to our server and passed to our AI provider solely to generate translations. We do not store your text or the translations on our servers; the result is returned to your browser and lives in your design. We do not use your content to train models.

Emails: we send purchase receipts to your account email. No marketing email without your explicit consent.

Where data lives

Our database (accounts' credit ledger) runs in the EU (Frankfurt). We use a small set of specialised service providers for hosting, sign-in, payments (Mollie, Netherlands), email delivery and AI processing — each processes only what its role requires, under data processing agreements. A current list of processors is available on request.

Cookies

The studio uses functional cookies only: a session cookie once you sign in. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Retention & your rights

Purchase records are kept as long as Dutch bookkeeping law requires (7 years). Account data is kept until you delete your account — you can do that yourself under "Manage account" in the studio, or email us. Under the GDPR you can request access, correction, export or deletion of your data at any time via hello@storevisuals.app.
